Interested in the LWV-Darien? Become a member and join us! Any citizen, 16 or older, male or female, may become a voting member of the League. Non-citizens may join and become associate (i.e., non-voting) members. Members of the Darien LWV automatically become members of the CT State League and the US National League.
Membership in the Darien League is for the fiscal year July 1 through June 30. All new memberships received after February 1 extend through the full following fiscal year.
We invite participation in our Darien League at any and all levels of participation. You can simply be a member and enjoy the programs and communication pieces or you can get more involved in areas that are of particular interest to you.
Dues are $55 for an individual, and $80 for a household. Please consider making an additional contribution. Our local league only retains 12% of dues revenues after remitting mandatory state and national dues based on our membership. We rely on additional contributions to fund our local voter service and educational program efforts.

$50-$149 Seneca Falls Convention (1848, yes it took until 1920)
$150-$249 Elizabeth Cady Stanton (behind the scenes powerhouse)
$250+ Susan B. Anthony (the icon of women’s voting rights)
